Pikachu TCG Market Report — March 2026

Welcome to our first monthly Pikachu market report. Each month we'll break down what's happening with Pikachu TCG card prices on eBay — what's selling, what's slowing down, and where we see prices heading.

Market Overview

March 2026 is showing steady demand for Pikachu cards across all condition tiers. Active listings are up slightly compared to February, while sold prices have remained stable. Here's the quick summary:

Metric This Month
Average active listing price €28
Average sold price €22
Sell-through rate (approx.) ~65%
Most active regions US, UK, Japan

Top Performing Cards This Month

1. Pikachu V (Full Art) — Battle Styles

This card continues to attract strong buyer interest. Multiple raw copies sold in the €25–40 range, with PSA 10 copies reaching €110. The Full Art artwork drives consistent demand from both collectors and players.

2. Pikachu VMAX (Sword & Shield Era)

Rainbow Rare versions are the standout here. We tracked several sales above €80 for raw copies in near-mint condition. PSA 10 copies are commanding €180–220, a strong premium over raw.

3. Base Set Pikachu (Unlimited)

Classic nostalgia is driving interest. Lightly played copies are selling steadily at €8–15. Mint/near-mint copies with clean edges are commanding €20–30. A surprisingly liquid market given the card's age.

What's Slowing Down

  • Bulk Pikachu lots (5x, 8x, 10x bundles): These seem to be sitting longer before selling. Buyers appear to prefer individual cards with clear condition descriptions over bulk uncertain lots.
  • Non-English Pikachu cards: Japanese and Korean copies are trading at roughly 15–25% discount to English equivalents despite often being in better condition.

Regional Trends

Listings from Japan (JP region) typically show lower prices and higher listing volume. UK-based sellers are often pricing 10–15% higher than US counterparts, possibly accounting for shipping differentials.

If you're buying, setting your location filter to "US" or "Japan" tends to surface the most competitively priced options. Use the location filter on our Pikachu Dashboard to compare.

Outlook for April

We expect continued stable pricing through April unless a major new set release or Pokémon Go event triggers a nostalgia spike. Base Set and promo Pikachus tend to be most affected by media events — keep an eye on official Pokémon announcements.

The graded market (PSA, CGC) remains strong for premium copies. If you're holding raw mint copies of desirable Pikachus, now is a reasonable time to consider grading.
